What is Add Watermark to Image?
A watermark is the simplest way to attach your identity to an image before publishing it. For anyone producing content, it both discourages uncredited reuse and tells viewers where to find you when the image gets reshared.
Two styles serve two different purposes. A corner mark is discreet and does not obscure the content, but it is trivially cropped away. A tiled mark covering the whole frame is far harder to remove — the usual choice for preview images, samples and documents you want to discourage copying. Text size is expressed as a percentage of the shorter edge, so the mark stays proportionate on images of any size.

Frequently asked questions
What opacity should I use?
Around 50 to 70% works for most cases: legible without overwhelming the image. For tiled marks, drop to 20 to 35%, since the text appears many times over.
Can a watermark be removed?
A corner mark disappears with a crop. A tiled mark is much harder to remove but not impossible — modern object-removal tools are capable. Treat watermarking as a deterrent, not absolute protection.
Can I use a logo image instead of text?
Text only for now. If you need a mark, a simple workaround is using a distinctive symbol or emoji within the watermark text.
