What is Convert images to PDF?
Photographing documents with a phone leaves you with a pile of separate images, while whoever receives your paperwork almost always wants a single PDF. This tool joins them, one image per page, in the order you arrange.
There are three page-size choices. Fit the image makes each page exactly the size of its image, with no border and no margin, which suits albums and drawings. A4 and Letter place the image on a standard sheet, which suits anything destined for a printer. Images are always scaled proportionally and never stretched.
With orientation set to automatic, each page follows its own image: a landscape photo gets a landscape page, a portrait one gets a portrait page. Choose manually if you want the whole set to match.
Only JPG and PNG are accepted, because those are the two formats the PDF standard embeds directly without re-encoding. Convert HEIC photos from an iPhone, or WebP images, to JPG first using the image converter on this site.

Frequently asked questions
Why are my iPhone HEIC photos rejected?
Because the PDF standard cannot embed HEIC. Use the image converter on this site to turn them into JPG first. You can also set your iPhone camera to shoot JPG directly in its settings.
Which page size should I pick?
If the file is only going to be sent and read on screen, pick fit the image so there is no wasted white border. If it will be printed or submitted to an office, pick A4 so every page matches.
Will the PDF be larger than the images added up?
Only slightly. JPG images are embedded as they are rather than re-compressed, so no quality is lost and little size is added. PNG is simply heavier than JPG for the same content, which is a property of the format.
How many images can I add?
There is no fixed limit beyond your machine memory. A few dozen phone photos is routine.
